We are KKCompany Technologies Group, a prominent international software firm dedicated to driving progress in multimedia technologies, digital cloud solutions, and artificial intelligence applications. Our portfolio includes notable brands like KKBOX, the world’s first legal music streaming platform, alongside BlendVision and Going Cloud. With over 500 team members operating across Tokyo, Singapore, Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Hong Kong, we pride ourselves on maintaining rigorous standards, including OpenChain ISO/IEC 5230 and ISO 27001 certifications. We are currently looking for a Head of Engineering to join us in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in Taiwan.

Responsibilities

Provide visionary leadership for our multidisciplinary engineering teams, which include mobile, web, SRE, operations, machine learning, and backend departments.
Take full ownership of the project development lifecycle, ensuring that all systems maintain high performance and reliability while meeting our security compliance standards.
Partner with our executive leadership to define strategic goals, manage the division budget, and implement innovative technologies that boost our overall productivity.

Requirements

At least 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a deep understanding of industry best practices and cloud-based environments.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, specifically managing software engineering teams.
Proven ability to handle strategic planning, resource allocation, and complex budgeting for a technical division.
Demonstrated success in guiding multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
Professional proficiency in English to facilitate effective communication across our international offices.
