Responsibilities
- Build and lead our Business Intelligence and Business Analytics teams by recruiting, hiring, and mentoring talent to support every department.
- Take full ownership of our data lifecycle, from initial development to final consumption, while ensuring high standards for architecture and quality.
- Design and implement a scalable data infrastructure from the ground up to support our rapid business growth.
- Create a self-service analytics environment by providing teams with the dashboards and tools they need to access insights independently.
- Use prescriptive analytics to drive business impact, improve operational efficiency, and enhance our product performance.
- Foster a culture of experimentation by leading deep-dive analyses to measure the success of our business and product initiatives.
- Work closely with our product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure our data strategy remains aligned with our broader goals.
Must-haves
- At least 8 years of experience in data science, BI, or data analytics, including significant time in a leadership role.
- A proven history of building and scaling data teams from the ground up, ideally within a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
- Deep expertise in BI tools like Looker, Databricks, or Superset, as well as experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python, along with hands-on experience in effective data modeling.
- A track record of successfully implementing data strategies that result in measurable business growth.
- Fluency in English.
