Role at a glance
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Data to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an executive-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will be the driving force behind our data strategy, ensuring our technical direction aligns with our product roadmap and organizational goals.
Your impact
- Define and execute a comprehensive data strategy, overseeing everything from architecture and warehousing to advanced analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify organizational data needs and build scalable, secure infrastructure that supports our long-term growth.
- Mentor and lead our data team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and professional development.
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of experience delivering strategic visions in data engineering, warehousing, or enterprise reporting.
- Deep expertise in data modeling techniques and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting, particularly with Python and Bash.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business terms for stakeholders.
- A track record of managing and mentoring junior engineers or analysts.
- Fluency in English.
