What you bring

We are looking for an executive-level Head of Cyber Security to lead our remote, full-time team. In this role you will set the direction for all security initiatives, guide a group of specialists, and embed protection across our engineering and product work. Your background in cyber security leadership, combined with hands-on expertise in SIEM, vulnerability management, firewalls, 2FA, endpoint security, web security, and penetration testing, will be essential. You will work from anywhere as part of our distributed Engineering team.

• Develop and roll out a comprehensive cyber security strategy that supports company goals and protects digital assets.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the cyber security team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Run regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analyses-including penetration testing and evaluations against denial-of-service threats-and translate findings into actionable improvements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security, or a related discipline and brings at least eight years of cyber security experience, including three years in a leadership capacity. You have deep experience securing websites and web applications, a solid grasp of frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST, and practical knowledge of cryptographic principles and blockchain technology. Hands-on skill with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM platforms is expected, along with proven ability in incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management. Strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate across teams are vital. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly valued, and prior work in affiliate marketing or crypto is considered a plus.
