Role at a glance

We are seeking a Head of Credit Risk to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position open to candidates located anywhere. You will work closely with our CRO, Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to build our credit risk foundations from the ground up and define the future of SME lending in Europe.

Your impact

Design and manage our end-to-end credit risk framework, covering everything from underwriting and scoring models to risk appetite and monitoring.
Partner with Machine Learning engineers to build a best-in-class Credit Risk Engine that balances excellent risk parameters with a seamless user experience.
Act as a strong Second Line of Defence by ensuring our origination, monitoring, and collection processes remain robust and compliant with EMI and PS4 regulatory standards.

What you'll need

At least 7 to 10 years of experience in credit risk, specifically within SME lending or credit cards.
Proven expertise in automated underwriting and risk modeling within a fintech or digital banking setting.
An AI-native mindset, meaning you are comfortable using AI tools to drive productivity and decision-making.
A strong grasp of risk governance, policy management, and regulatory compliance.
A quantitative or STEM degree is considered a strong plus.
Fluency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams like Legal, Product, and Engineering.
