We are looking for a visionary leader to join our team as our first Head of Brand & IP Partnerships. At Pocket Worlds, we create Highrise, an avatar-based virtual world where millions of users gather to express themselves, build communities, and socialize. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between iconic global brands and our digital universe, helping us weave fashion, entertainment, and toy IP into the fabric of our platform. About the Role

This is a founding, high-impact role for a senior professional looking to shape the future of our platform. As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and launching partnerships that resonate with our players. You will work closely with our CEO and our product and creative teams to ensure that external IP feels native to the Highrise experience, whether through avatar fashion, social events, or player-created spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure strategic IP partnerships with major global brands across the fashion, toy, and entertainment sectors.
  • Lead the entire lifecycle of deal structuring, negotiation, and contract execution to bring new content into our ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform partnerships into live, playable product features, such as themed events, avatar collections, and immersive digital rooms.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who brings a blend of commercial acumen and creative vision. You should have at least 7 years of experience in partnerships, licensing, or brand development, particularly within the gaming, fashion, or social platform industries. You must have a proven track record of closing high-impact deals and possess a strong network within the fashion or entertainment licensing worlds. We value individuals who are self-sufficient, capable of operating in a fast-paced environment, and possess a deep understanding of how fashion functions as both culture and commerce.

Location

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere.
