Hardware Verification Engineer at PQShield

We are a deep tech startup established in 2018, and we are looking for a Senior Hardware Verification Engineer to join our growing team. Since our founding, we have successfully secured funding and established the feasibility of our technology, which now has a clear path to market. You will have the unique opportunity to work directly with our founders and inventors as we expand our footprint in the technology industry. We are currently hiring for this full-time, hybrid role in the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands, and Spain.

What you'll be doing

• You will design and expand UVM testbenches to verify our cryptographic subsystems and intellectual property.
• You will create Python-based automation tools to boost our verification efficiency and productivity.
• You will apply formal verification techniques to prove complex scenarios and adopt an attacker mindset to identify and resolve potential security weaknesses.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in hardware verification and a passion for secure product development. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Expertise in UVM-based verification at both the IP and subsystem levels.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tool development.
• Practical experience with formal verification beyond standard applications.
• A solid understanding of cryptography, including algorithms like AES, SHA, and ECC.
• Strong software development skills in C or C++ to support hardware and software co-verification.
• The ability to lead verification projects, mentor junior team members, and define high-level verification strategies.
• Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our international team.
