What you bring

As a Growth Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy while remaining hands-on with the code. This is a full-time, remote position where you will lead a small, high-impact team to build features that directly increase petition creation and success. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Hiring, mentoring, and growing a high-performing engineering team while defining team organization.
• Collaborating with product and design colleagues to scope projects, set quarterly objectives, and execute action plans.
• Contributing directly to the codebase using technologies like Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

Requirements

We are looking for a senior-level candidate who balances technical expertise with strong management capabilities. You should have extensive experience in full-stack development, specifically with backend systems at scale and SQL databases. We value candidates who are comfortable working in a remote, global environment and possess excellent communication skills in English. The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver who is obsessed with system performance and has a proven track record of growing website traffic.
