Group Product Manager at Belvo

At Belvo, we are on a mission to democratize access to financial services across Latin America. We operate as an open finance API platform, providing the tools that allow financial innovators to interpret data and initiate payments securely. Since our founding in 2019, we have raised 71 million USD from top-tier global venture capitalists. Our team is a diverse group of over 90 people representing 20 nationalities, working from offices in São Paulo and Mexico City, as well as remotely. We are currently seeking a Group Product Manager to join us in Mexico on a full-time, hybrid basis to lead our high-growth payments vertical.

Key outcomes

• Lead one of our most successful product lines, focusing on the payments vertical in Mexico.
• Manage and mentor our operations team, utilizing automation and data-driven improvements to ensure high efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients and providers to identify and define new business opportunities.
• Drive product initiatives from initial ideation through to production, including building MVPs and scaling successful solutions.
• Define a clear, long-term strategy and roadmap that aligns with our organizational vision.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Legal, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution.
• Analyze market dynamics and user behavior to guide product decisions and refine requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers to understand their pain points and provide proactive, technical solutions.
• Define and track key performance metrics to measure impact and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the fintech or payments sectors.
• Direct experience working within the Mexican payments ecosystem.
• A strong technical foundation with a hacker mindset, including the ability to prototype or code MVPs and collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to extract insights and build dashboards.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous problems into concrete, customer-focused solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
• Experience leading and empowering teams to foster ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with using AI-powered tools and frameworks to support software development and automation.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous professional experience as a Software Engineer or Data Scientist.
• A track record of building products or startups from the ground up.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to transform workflows or build impactful projects.
