At Splend, we are redefining car ownership through flexible subscription services that empower rideshare and delivery drivers. By streamlining administrative tasks and leveraging data analytics, we help our members take control of their careers while focusing on what matters most. Beyond our core services, we are leading the charge toward a greener future. As the largest operator of electric vehicles in Australia, we are actively reducing the carbon footprint of the transport industry and proving that environmental change is both possible and scalable.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Group Product Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Australia. This is a leadership position where you will guide technology delivery across our entire organization. You will work closely with our Sydney-based Group Head of Technology and collaborate with colleagues across Australia and the UK to shape our product roadmap. From initial problem scoping and solution design to final system delivery and optimization, you will be at the heart of our product lifecycle.
Core responsibilities
- Own the technology product roadmap by defining quarterly and annual objectives and reporting on our progress toward key results.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers and business analysts to ensure high-quality software and system delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to balance short-term operational fixes with our long-term strategic goals.
Skills and experience
We are looking for a leader with at least five years of experience in senior digital product, project, or technology management. You should be comfortable navigating complex technical environments and possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience managing and developing teams, particularly across different locations or time zones.
- Strong technical literacy, including a working knowledge of APIs, AWS cloud infrastructure, ETL processes, BI tools, and UX/UI design principles.
- Expertise in creating high-quality governance materials, such as strategy papers and system design documentation.
- A customer-centric mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working within companies that utilize a mix of custom in-house software and third-party cloud applications.
Compensation and benefits
We invest in our people and offer a comprehensive package designed to support your professional and personal well-being:
- Equity compensation through our employee share program.
- Access to an employee assistance program.
- A dedicated learning budget and professional development opportunities.
- Additional perks including a performance-based bonus, a novated lease program, a birthday day off, team events, and a fully stocked kitchen.
How to apply
If you are passionate about green mobility and eager to lead technology strategy in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to join our team as we continue to build a more inclusive and sustainable future.
