About the Role
We are seeking a Group Product Manager, Investing to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role where you will serve as a product leader for our Investing Experience and Asset Management teams. You will be responsible for shaping our suite of investment options and developing the tools that help our clients select, manage, and track their portfolios. In this player/coach position, you will lead product managers and oversee an engineering squad, working closely with cross-functional partners to drive high-impact projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the multi-year product roadmap for our investing strategies, identifying new asset classes and account capabilities to better serve our retail, advised, and 401(k) clients.
- Partner with subject matter experts to translate complex portfolio expertise into intuitive software solutions for nearly a million users.
- Define success metrics for your product area and communicate the impact of your team's work to stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements
We are looking for a self-starter with a deep passion for personal finance and a proven track record of launching successful products. You should possess the following qualifications:
- Strong familiarity with investment concepts such as modern portfolio theory, risk-adjusted returns, and various asset classes including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Expertise in tax strategies, including tax-loss harvesting and tax-advantaged accounts.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to distill advanced financial concepts into accessible information.
- Strong analytical abilities and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
- An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
Location
This position is based in our New York City office, with a hybrid work schedule requiring three days per week in-office.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role in New York City is $170,000 to $195,000. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a discretionary company incentive bonus and a competitive equity package. We also provide a comprehensive benefits suite, including:
