Business Insider is looking for a Group Product Manager to join our Delivery Group and oversee our API performance and content syndication efforts. You will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing the backend infrastructure that powers our global storytelling, helping us reach an audience of over 375 million people with content that is smart, helpful, and unexpected.
Responsibilities
- Lead and align multiple product lines to ensure we are constantly innovating and delivering value.
- Act as a mentor and manager for a team of product managers, encouraging a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to build and maintain a clear product roadmap and vision.
- Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure transparency and cross-functional alignment on goals.
- Define key product metrics and use data to guide quarterly planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate complex business needs into technical solutions for our API and syndication products.
Must-haves
- Extensive experience in product management, including a proven track record of growing successful product lines.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing other product managers.
- Exceptional communication abilities, including public speaking and the capacity to explain complex strategies to various audiences.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Jira, Figma, Trello, Looker, and Google Analytics.
- Experience working closely with SRE or cloud engineering teams.
- Professional fluency in English.

- A strong interest in news, media, or journalism.
- An engineering background, particularly with Golang.
