The opportunity

We are looking for a Grid Integration Manager to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Reporting to the Head of Community Solar Delivery and Operations, you will serve as a vital technical bridge between our internal teams and external partners. Your work will ensure that our community solar projects are designed, specified, and executed to meet the rigorous requirements of utilities and ISOs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on technical challenges and wants to see their engineering expertise translate into real-world renewable energy infrastructure.

A day in the life

• You will manage third-party engineering contractors to ensure that all interconnection deliverables are produced accurately and on schedule.
• You will act as a primary technical resource, coordinating with utilities and ISOs to interpret complex engineering requirements and ensure project compliance with FERC, NERC, and IEEE standards.
• You will oversee the implementation of engineering designs during the project commissioning phase to verify that every technical specification is met.

Who you are

You are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for renewable energy and a strong background in electrical systems. To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with a preference for candidates who hold a Licensed Professional Engineer certification.
• At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in interconnection, specifically working with multiple ISOs and utility project execution procedures.
• A deep understanding of industry standards such as FERC, NERC, and IEEE, paired with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines effectively.
• Fluency in English and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
