What you bring

We are looking for a mid-level Graphics Engineer to join our permanently remote team on a full-time basis. You will work on performance-critical rendering features for our fast-paced arena shooter, collaborating closely with engineers who have shipped titles at leading gaming and technology companies. Your day-to-day will include optimizing draw calls and memory usage, diagnosing frame-time issues with profiling tools, and extending Unreal Engine’s low-level rendering pipeline. Three main responsibilities stand out: delivering smooth, high-fidelity visuals across PC and console targets, profiling and tuning GPU workloads to hit our performance budgets, and implementing new rendering techniques that keep Splitgate 2 feeling fresh. The role is open to candidates located anywhere.

Requirements

We expect at least two years of hands-on graphics engineering experience, strong proficiency in C++ or a comparable object-oriented language, and proven skills in performance and memory optimization. You should be comfortable with profiling tools such as RenderDoc and Unreal Insights, understand Unreal Engine’s rendering architecture, and have solid command of 3D mathematics. Familiarity with shading languages like HLSL, experience with PC and console graphics APIs, and knowledge of low-level CPU/GPU operations are highly valued. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. Beyond technical ability, we seek engineers who thrive on tackling tough problems, take pride in going the extra mile, and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. English fluency is required.

What we offer

Compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $140,000 USD, with the final offer influenced by geographic location. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide the freedom of fully remote work so you can contribute from wherever you are most productive.
