Graphics Designer/Illustrator at Authenticate

Authenticate (Santa Monica, CA) is looking for a talented, hard-working, India-based Motion Graphics designer on our team to be a utility player. We provide identity verification and fraud prevention solutions to add trust and safety, mitigate risk, deter theft, stop loss, protect assets, and ensure the most well-informed decisions based on the most accurate, verifiable data.

You must be able to multi-task and manage many responsibilities at a time. You must also be comfortable working with other team members and communicating over Slack, Jira, Trello, and email as necessary. You will work on several features of the products simultaneously with others and will be expected to organize and document your efforts diligently.

About The Role

You’ll work with the team on creating original content and innovative creatives focused on social media. The content you create will include projects across marketing campaigns, brochures, Presentation Decks, Illustrations, and animations. You will also be involved in crafting creatives for the product team with Illustrations and animations. You must conceptualize and craft designs and animations for the marketing and product team to help them in their efforts. You would be required to collaborate with the internal creative and management team.

What You Will Do

• Work with the business teams across functions, from social media to product team requirements.
• Prepare design plan, concept, and layout for motion graphic project
• Supervise and execute high-quality creative work with internal teams for cross-platform use.
• Help drive effective and creative media campaigns, working cross-functionally with copy and design team members.
• Help bring an extensive base of content buckets to life in a seller’s journey.
• Present ideas to a wide set of internal and external stakeholders.
• Execute “on-brand” creative with tight timelines.
• Research and analyze the best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of relevant experience working with an agency or a brand.
• A working portfolio of past campaign work is mandatory.
• Expert in video creation using After Effects.
• Expert knowledge of computer-aided design software, including but not limited to Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Motion graphics, and other relevant packages.
• Expert knowledge in the graphics production process.
• Strong conceptual skills, a high-level sense of design, layout, and typography, and a broad thinking ability to offer various design solutions.
• Excellent in illustration.
• Work well with tight deadlines in a team environment.
• Ability to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of creating explainer videos and character animation is a big plus.
• 3D knowledge is not mandatory but is a big plus.
