Pico is looking for a Graduate C C++ Engineer
We are looking for a dedicated Graduate C/C++ Engineer to join our team in Poland. At Pico, we empower the global capital markets community by providing high-performance market data services and custom infrastructure solutions, supporting our clients through every stage of the trading lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features across our entire product range, including our ultra-low latency Redline Trading Solutions and Corvil Analytics technology.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to solve complex challenges related to real-time data normalization and analysis.
- Write clean, maintainable code that helps bring our technology into new markets and deployment models.
- Engage in continuous learning and innovation to address the demanding throughput requirements of modern financial markets.
- Participate in a highly collaborative environment where you can both contribute your own ideas and learn from the expertise of your peers.
Must-haves
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C or C++ development within a Linux environment.
- Experience with multi-threaded application development.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for learning new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable code.
- A willingness to seek advice, accept feedback, and grow professionally.
Nice-to-haves
- Programming experience in Python or Java.
- Knowledge of IP networking.
- Familiarity with financial trading concepts, such as orders, trades, and quotes, as well as protocols like FIX.
