We are looking for a Graduate C/C++ Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. At Pico, we empower the global capital markets community by delivering high-quality market data services and tailored managed infrastructure. As experts at the intersection of finance and technology, we help our clients scale their operations and access markets with speed. Our team supports the entire trading lifecycle, from infrastructure to connectivity, and we are currently seeking talented engineers to help us expand our technology into new markets and deployment models.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative features across our entire product suite, including our ultra-low latency Redline Trading Solutions and Corvil Analytics technology.
- Solve complex challenges related to the normalization and real-time analysis of massive data streams.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled engineering team to maintain high standards for code quality and system performance.
Requirements
- A BSc or MSc degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in C or C++ development within a Linux environment.
- Experience or knowledge regarding multi-threaded application development.
- A genuine passion for problem-solving and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
- A commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and the ability to incorporate constructive feedback.
- While not required, experience with Python, Java, IP networking, and financial trading concepts like FIX protocols is highly desirable.
