Governance Risk and Compliance Specialist at Deliverect

At Deliverect, we are transforming the way the food and retail industries operate through our API-first platform. We provide a connected suite of solutions that help businesses manage their operations and expand their reach, allowing them to sell anywhere and deliver everywhere. We are currently looking for a Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Spain, requiring three days in our Madrid office and two days working from home. As part of our newly formed Information Security department, you will play a foundational role in shaping our security practices and protecting our global infrastructure as we continue to scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead our efforts in privacy compliance and vendor management while coordinating broader information governance initiatives.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain detailed reports to track potential threats and ensure our security policies remain current.
• Manage our third-party risk program by evaluating the security posture of our suppliers and advising internal teams on best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• One to five years of experience working within an information security environment.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud environments and SaaS tools.
• Familiarity with information security governance, control frameworks, and risk management methodologies.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and data protection principles.
• Full professional fluency in English.
