The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be at the heart of our technical operations, designing and maintaining the high-performance systems that process massive amounts of financial data. You will work closely with our quantitative researchers and product teams to translate complex financial requirements into robust, scalable software. Whether you are optimizing distributed architectures or refining our data pipelines, your contributions will directly impact how financial institutions interact with digital assets.

A day in the life

• You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs, primarily using Go, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our data pipelines remain accurate and efficient.
• You will apply your expertise in concurrent programming and distributed systems to improve our pricing models and risk management tools, ensuring our infrastructure can handle real-time and historical data at scale.
• You will participate in the full product lifecycle, from prototyping and testing to troubleshooting critical issues and contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives through code reviews and technical documentation.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a strong background in building backend services and microservices. You possess a deep understanding of low-level system details and are comfortable navigating complex, distributed environments. Because we value versatility, you should have experience with Python and a genuine interest in working with Rust. Your technical toolkit includes proficiency in SQL, cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. You communicate clearly, enjoy solving intricate problems, and are comfortable discussing the trade-offs of different architectural designs with your teammates. You are fluent in English and hold a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
