Our platform is deeply integrated into various game titles and payment ecosystems, providing users with a seamless way to manage their personal information, banking services, and digital items. You will join a collaborative, cross-functional team dedicated to refining our existing features and launching exciting new updates across our product suite.
What is this role?
We are hiring a Senior Golang Backend Developer for a full-time position based in Canada. This is a hybrid role, perfect for an experienced professional who enjoys building scalable, secure, and reliable software within a fast-paced environment. What will you do?
- Design and build robust backend services for the Xsolla Account and Wallet, focusing on high-performance microservices.
- Integrate our internal systems with a variety of third-party components, including cloud services, payment gateways, and SaaS solutions.
- Monitor system performance to proactively identify bottlenecks, ensuring our infrastructure remains efficient, reliable, and fault-tolerant.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of relevant backend development experience. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and qualities:
- Strong proficiency in Golang, SQL, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- A solid grasp of backend infrastructure, including networks, load balancers, CDNs, and key-value storage.
- Experience working with message brokers like AMQP.
- A commitment to writing clean, well-documented code.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
Bonus points if you have experience with CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, or modern architectural patterns like Domain-Driven Design.
