Are you ready to help us build the future of decentralized technology? At Thesis, we operate as a cryptocurrency venture studio dedicated to empowering individuals through the products and protocols we create. Our portfolio includes innovative projects like the Mezo Bitcoin economic layer, the Threshold privacy network, and the Taho cryptocurrency wallet. Since 2014, our founders have been active in the web3 space, and we are backed by prominent investors such as Andreessen Horowitz and Polychain Capital. We are a fully remote team that values autonomy, clear communication, and a shared drive to build meaningful software.
What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Go Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. You will play a pivotal role in seeding node and bridge development for our upcoming projects, focusing on writing high-quality Go code that interfaces seamlessly with Solidity and EVM functionality. This is a significant opportunity for an engineer who is prepared to step into a tech lead role for a small team in the near future. Your work will be based anywhere, though we have a preference for candidates in the Americas or Europe time zones.
- Lead the development of complex node and bridge infrastructure while mentoring junior team members.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to refine team processes, identify technical blind spots, and ensure project success.
- Maintain a rigorous focus on security, testing, and API design to deliver stable, user-centric decentralized applications.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess at least three years of experience in a staff-level position or five years of successful full-stack engineering in a high-performance environment. You must have a strong command of Go, including standard tooling and effective coding guidelines. Proficiency in working with Solidity-Go bindings and interacting with smart contracts is essential. We value candidates who can navigate ambiguity, document their decision-making processes, and communicate complex technical trade-offs with empathy and clarity. While not required, technical familiarity with Bitcoin or the Evmos ecosystem is a significant advantage. You must be fluent in English to collaborate effectively with our global team.
What we offer
We are committed to supporting our team members through a culture of professional growth and personal well-being. We provide a competitive compensation package designed to attract top-tier talent in the industry.
- Full remote work flexibility.
- Equity compensation opportunities.
- Dedicated support for professional development.
How to Apply
If you are passionate about web3 and want to contribute to projects that push the boundaries of decentralization, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to our team to share your background and your interest in helping us build the next generation of cryptocurrency infrastructure.
