The opportunity

We are looking for a Staff Go Engineer to join us in seeding the node and bridge development for one of our upcoming projects. This role is central to our technical mission, requiring you to write robust Go code while interfacing deeply with Solidity and EVM functionality. You will be joining a team that values pragmatic problem solving and security above all else. As we grow, we are specifically looking for someone ready to step into a tech lead role to mentor a small team and help shape our engineering culture. This is a full-time, remote position that offers the chance to work on high-impact decentralized technology.

A day in the life

• You will architect and implement complex systems, focusing on security, stability, and maintainability while clearly articulating the trade-offs behind your technical decisions.
• You will act as a mentor to junior engineers, fostering a learning-centric environment where you help the team adhere to best practices and maintain high engineering standards.
• You will collaborate with engineering leadership to refine our development processes, structure sprint planning, and ensure our projects remain on track to deliver secure, user-focused software.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a deep passion for the inner workings of technology. You have at least three years of experience in a staff-level role or at least five years of success as a full-stack engineer in high-performance environments. You communicate effectively in English and possess the following skills:

• Expert-level knowledge of Go, including standard tooling and effective coding guidelines.
• Proven experience working with Solidity-Go bindings and interacting with smart contracts from a Go environment.
• A strong background in Web3, security, and testing practices.
• Ideally, you have technical familiarity with Bitcoin or the Evmos ecosystem.
• You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating structure where it is currently lacking.
