What is this role?
We are looking for a Mid-Level Go Developer to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a fully remote position, and we are specifically seeking candidates based in Latin America who are fluent in English. If you are a proactive professional who values clear communication and takes pride in high-quality code, you will fit right in with our collaborative environment.
What will you do?
- Build and maintain robust integrations that handle data flow between our systems and various third-party platforms.
- Architect scalable and secure solutions specifically focused on API development and complex data pipelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure our systems perform reliably.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on the Go programming language. We value candidates who have a solid grasp of modern development practices and the ability to solve complex problems independently.
- Deep technical knowledge of REST, gRPC, and various data formats like JSON and XML.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong familiarity with Git for version control and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote setting.
