The global Sales Manager – Heavy Duty (HD) is responsible for defining and driving the global business strategy for the HD segment. This includes strategic program development, direct business development with key OEM and European accounts, and supporting local sales teams to convert HD distributors and fleets. This role plays a crucial link between sales, marketing, and product development, and ensures global alignment and growth in the HD segment.
Key responsibilities
1. Heavy Duty program development
- Define and continuously refine the global strategy for the HD segment (on- and off-road).
- Act as key contributor to the HD Marketing Manager and Product team by providing strategic input, market intelligence, and segment insights.
- Monitor global market trends and competitor positioning to identify growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.
2. Business development
- Lead direct business development initiatives with a focus on:
- OEM Off-road service fill programs
- European Key Accounts across on- and off-road sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, OEMs, and key decision-makers within the HD ecosystem.
3. Global sales support
- Act as the go-to expert for HD sales support across all regions.
- Provide commercial coaching and training to sales teams worldwide.
- Offer technical support to convert strategic fleet opportunities and close complex sales cases.
- Ensure consistent messaging, tools, and commercial strategy alignment across markets.
