The role

We are looking for a Senior GIS Angular JS API Developer to join our team as a contractor. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. You will play a vital role in our software development efforts, focusing on the creation and enhancement of high-performance mapping applications that leverage the full power of the ESRI ecosystem.

Core responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web-based GIS applications using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript alongside modern Angular, HTML, and CSS frameworks.
• Create custom scripts and tools using ArcPy and Angular JS API extensions to automate complex geoprocessing tasks and GIS workflows.
• Collaborate closely with our project teams through GitHub to ensure we meet client requirements and deliver high-quality spatial solutions on time.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in software development and a passion for spatial technology. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related technical field.
• Proven proficiency in Geographic Information Systems and web mapping principles.
• Deep knowledge of ArcGIS Server, ESRI technologies, and experience with desktop add-in development via the ArcGIS Pro SDK.
• Strong technical skills in JavaScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• A demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining excellent communication and collaboration with team members.
• A sharp aptitude for problem-solving and technical troubleshooting.
