About the Role
We are seeking a Geophysical Project Specialist to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this senior-level role, you will apply your technical expertise to manage both routine and complex environmental and geophysical projects. You will serve as a key leader, guiding field teams and ensuring that our high standards for quality and safety are met across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of geophysical and environmental projects, including the oversight of field operations and technical execution.
- Collect, process, and interpret diverse geophysical datasets, such as seismic waves and magnetic fields, while operating and maintaining specialized field instrumentation.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, conduct engineering analyses, and collaborate with project managers to provide innovative solutions for our clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in geophysics or a related geoscience field. We look for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in geophysics, geology, or a closely related field, with a Master’s degree in a specialty area being highly preferred.
- Relevant professional experience, typically ranging from 5 to 10 years, though this may be adjusted for candidates with advanced degrees.
- An Engineer-in-Training certificate or an equivalent certification for your specific specialty.
- The ability to work independently on construction or greenfield sites while maintaining a positive and professional image for the firm.
