We are looking for a Geometry Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer II to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. At nTop, we build next-generation engineering software that empowers global innovators to design, test, and manufacture products with incredible speed and precision. Our technology is currently used to develop everything from mission-critical satellites to advanced medical implants. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate comprehensive test suites while documenting procedures to ensure we consistently ship high-quality software.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to verify that all features meet technical specifications and to ensure bugs are resolved promptly.
- Investigate product quality issues, track defects, and refine our internal processes to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in software quality engineering and testing.
- A solid grasp of geometry and parametric solids modeling.
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, along with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration systems like Jenkins and version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with Jira for project tracking and experience testing applications across both Windows and UNIX-like operating systems.
- A strong commitment to modern development practices, including test-driven development and agile methodologies.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $124,000 annually, with the final offer determined by your specific experience and background.
