Role at a glance

This is a full-time, senior-level position where you will lead the charge in developing generative AI solutions. You will work within a hybrid model, with the option to join us at our headquarters in Beverly Hills, California, or work remotely. You will report directly to our Senior Manager of Engineering while collaborating across departments to bring our AI roadmap to life.

Your impact

• Lead the end-to-end development of generative AI solutions, from initial strategy and technical planning to full-scale execution.
• Design and implement sophisticated customer-facing chat experiences, including personalized product descriptions, automated account management, and internal workflow agents.
• Build and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Java, while continuously optimizing prompt engineering to ensure high-quality, reliable AI outputs.

What you'll need

• At least five years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of building domain-driven systems at scale.
• At least one year of hands-on experience deploying, fine-tuning, and integrating foundational LLM models into production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python or Java, paired with a solid grasp of data science concepts to monitor and evaluate model performance.
• Experience working in agile environments and a talent for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset focused on automation, continuous delivery, and building stable systems that require minimal manual intervention.
• Fluency in English.

Perks and compensation

The base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $190,000. In addition to base pay, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes an initial equity grant and a bonus structure.
