The opportunity

We are looking for a General Maintenance professional to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is vital to our engineering operations, as you will be responsible for the upkeep and protection of our hotel assets. You will work closely with our Chief Engineer to ensure that our facilities remain in top condition, directly contributing to the comfort of our guests and the overall success of our properties. Please note that this position requires availability during evening hours and on weekends.

A day in the life

• You will assist with the maintenance and repair of hotel equipment, guest rooms, and outside grounds, while learning the fundamentals of preventative maintenance and capital expenditures.
• You will act as a friendly point of contact for our guests, responding to their requests promptly and ensuring that any maintenance needs are addressed with a positive attitude.
• You will proactively identify property concerns and collaborate with management to implement effective, long-term solutions while adhering to all safety and brand regulations.

Who you are

You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to customer service. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable handling the physical demands of the role, including the ability to push, pull, or lift up to 100 pounds. To be successful in this position, you should bring the following qualifications:

• A High School diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of previous maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• A CPO or appliance repair certification is highly desired, though we are open to candidates who have the ability to obtain these certifications based on our property needs.
