At ABL Space Systems, we are working toward a future where space missions launch daily across the globe. We are dedicated to providing reliable access to space by developing our RS1 launch vehicle and the modular GS0 ground system. Our success is built on the hard work of our talented team of engineers, technicians, and operators who value simple, effective solutions to the complex problems inherent in space flight. We invite you to join us as we build the next generation of space infrastructure.
What is this role?
This is a Senior level, Full Time, on-site opportunity based in the United States. Please note that this is a general engineering application rather than a posting for one specific opening. We welcome interest from professionals with backgrounds in propulsion, structures, avionics, electrical systems, GNC, test, integration, software, and manufacturing. Submitting your information here allows us to review your profile for potential future needs across our various engineering disciplines.
What will you do?
- You will have the chance to make meaningful contributions to the hardware or software powering our RS1 rocket and ground operations.
- You will work closely with a small, high-performing team of engineers, operators, and technicians.
- You will take complete ownership of your projects to ensure they are fully realized and ready for flight.
What makes you a great fit?
We are looking for individuals who possess a strong foundation in engineering and a high level of critical thinking. To succeed here, you should be comfortable with the following:
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Demonstrating professional experience in fields such as aerospace, automotive, aviation, satellites, or consumer electronics.
- Applying deep analytical skills to understand the reasoning behind every design decision, test result, and operational event.
- Navigating ambiguity with confidence while defining your own path toward a clear objective.
- Communicating effectively in English.
Important Note: Because our work involves information protected by US export control laws, including ITAR and EAR regulations, you must be a US person to qualify for this position. This includes US citizens, permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status.
What's in it for you?
We are an equal opportunity employer and value a diverse workforce. We consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. We encourage applicants of all ages to apply and become part of our mission to reach the stars.
