Are you ready to help us realize a future where space missions launch daily from every corner of the globe? At ABL Space Systems, we are working to ensure global access to space by developing the RS1 launch vehicle and the GS0 modular ground system. We are looking for passionate individuals who want to join our mission and contribute to the next generation of space platforms.
What you bring
We are accepting applications for Senior level General Engineering talent to join us on a Full Time, On-site basis in the United States. This is an opportunity for those with a background in engineering and a strong foundation in Critical Thinking to help us solve the complex challenges of space flight. Your primary focus will include:
- Making significant contributions to the hardware or software systems that power our RS1 rocket and mission operations.
- Collaborating closely with a small, high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Taking responsibility for the development and execution of systems that impact our future launch capabilities.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university. We value experience across a variety of sectors, including aerospace, automotive, aviation, satellites, and consumer electronics. Because our work involves sensitive technology, you must be a US person as defined by US export control laws, including ITAR and EAR regulations. We look for engineers who possess a deep sense of end-to-end ownership, ensuring that every project is delivered completely and is flight-ready. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity by defining your own path to an objective, and you must always prioritize Critical Thinking to understand the reasoning behind every design decision and test outcome.
What we offer
We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants of all backgrounds and ages. We believe in fostering an environment where qualified individuals are treated with respect and provided with equal consideration for employment, regardless of race, religion, gender, or any other protected status. We are committed to building a diverse team that is empowered to tackle the unique challenges of the space industry.
How to Apply
If you are interested in our mission and want to be considered for future opportunities in areas like propulsion, structures, avionics, GNC, software, or manufacturing, we encourage you to submit your application. Please note that while we welcome your interest, submitting an application does not guarantee consideration for a specific role. We look forward to learning more about your background and how you might contribute to the future of ABL Space Systems.
