What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our full-time development team. This position is a unique blend of creativity and technical programming. You will collaborate closely with our artists, designers, and fellow engineers to solve complex challenges while implementing and optimizing new systems for our upcoming project.

What will you do?

• Develop core systems that serve as the foundation for the entire gameplay experience.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary agile team to design, prototype, and implement exciting new gameplay features.
• Support our mission and level designers by building the tools and systems needed to craft dynamic, engaging worlds.

To succeed in this role, you should be a team player with a passion for creating incredible player experiences. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Three to five years of professional experience in game programming.
• A track record of having shipped at least one AAA title as a gameplay programmer.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Solid mathematical skills and the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to thrive in our collaborative environment.
