The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join us in creating the next reality. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the United States where you will wear many hats, moving quickly from rapid prototyping to building production-level systems. You will be instrumental in shaping our upcoming projects, solving complex architectural challenges, and ensuring our games provide unforgettable experiences. A day in the life

• Architect, prototype, and implement networked gameplay loops that function seamlessly across both client and server environments.
• Optimize client-side performance to ensure our games run smoothly while adhering to strict mobile performance budgets.
• Collaborate with art and design teams to implement VFX, lighting, character assets, animations, and complex AI behaviors for our monsters and encounters.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience and a track record of shipping titles, ideally within the VR space. You possess advanced C# programming skills and deep expertise in the Unity engine. You are comfortable working with network game architectures and have a knack for solving shifting, complex problems in a fast-paced environment. We value a thirst for learning and a collaborative spirit, whether you are a sci-fi buff, a fantasy geek, or simply a passionate game developer who speaks fluent English.
