The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our fully remote team. This role is focused on the PC platform, where you will help us expand our audience by bringing our games to new ecosystems. You will play a vital part in the technical success of Towerborne, ensuring that our systems are robust, efficient, and ready for players to enjoy across various storefronts.
A day in the life
- You will spend your time building new features, tools, and systems within the Unreal Engine environment.
- You will focus on performance optimization to ensure our gameplay remains smooth and responsive.
- You will collaborate closely with the team to implement UI designs and bring our creative vision to life across multiple platforms.
Who you are
You are a proactive and detail-oriented engineer who communicates effectively with everyone on the team. You have a deep technical background and a passion for building high-quality games. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Expert-level proficiency in C++.
- Extensive experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
- A proven track record of writing code that is clean, reliable, and reusable.
- Experience shipping a PC game on ecosystems such as Steam, BattleNet, or the Epic Games Store.
- Fluency in English.
- Eligibility to work in the contiguous United States without visa support.
It is a bonus if you have experience with live service games, cross-platform progression, or Test Driven Development.
