The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Game Programmer to join our team in Canada on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is designed for someone who wants to take full ownership of their work while collaborating closely with our creative staff. You will play a vital part in our engineering department, ensuring that our technical systems are not only functional but also perform at the high standards our players expect. A day in the life
- You will take complete ownership of your assigned tasks, guiding them from initial concept through to final implementation while working alongside our creative team.
- You will design and build entirely new systems to help us reach our project goals, while also maintaining and improving the systems we already have in place.
- You will ensure that all code meets our rigorous quality and performance standards for release, while also mentoring and supporting your teammates to help the whole group succeed.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep background in engineering. You possess the technical maturity to handle complex systems and the communication skills to thrive in a collaborative environment. Since our team operates in English, you are comfortable discussing technical challenges and creative solutions in that language. You take pride in writing clean, efficient code and are always looking for ways to improve the overall quality of the project.
