We are currently looking for students interested in joining our team as Future Talent. If you do not see a specific opening that matches your background today, we invite you to submit your resume through our portal for future consideration. We are based in Oakland, California, and serve as a global leader in critical mineral production technology. Our mission is to rebuild the supply base for magnesium, a material vital to the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries. Because the vast majority of the global supply currently relies on coal-heavy processes in China, we are working to secure industrial independence and environmental sustainability by using a next-generation electrolytic process to extract magnesium from seawater and brines. Our work is supported by the U.S. Department of Defense and early investors in major space and automotive companies.
Key outcomes
- Contribute to the development of the first major electrolytic magnesium smelter built in this century.
- Engage in hands-on work that directly impacts national security and industrial resilience.
- Collaborate within a high-performance, execution-focused team that avoids unnecessary management layers.
- Solve complex engineering and operational challenges that require a proactive, mission-driven approach.
Requirements
- Current student status.
- Strong interest in the technology sector.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to work on-site in the United States.
Compensation
- Equity compensation, including stock options or milestone-based incentives.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- Access to a 401k program starting on your first day, with both pre-tax and post-tax investment options.
How to apply
If you are ready to tackle difficult problems and build technology that leaves a lasting impact, we encourage you to submit your application through our Future Talent portal. We look forward to reviewing your background and discussing how your skills might align with our mission.
