About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will help us build the internal platforms that empower our fund teams and support our founders in their growth journey. You will be part of a team of experienced startup builders who value high autonomy and accountability. This is a business-focused engineering position where you will tackle complex challenges in a fast-growing, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable code using React, Node.js, and GCP.
- Design and implement internal platforms that streamline operations for our fund teams and provide essential tooling for our portfolio founders.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to make informed architectural decisions and ship features in fast, iterative cycles.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in building scalable software products.
- Strong proficiency in architecting and securing REST APIs using Node.js.
- Proven experience in database design with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Commercial experience developing front-end applications with React and TypeScript.
- A genuine enthusiasm for using technology to solve real-world business problems.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and an interest in applying AI to business challenges are highly valued.
Location
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of being in our central Sydney office two days per week.
