At Trellis Law, we serve as the primary source for state trial court information across the United States. By leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning, we process hundreds of millions of legal documents to provide our clients with actionable, data-driven insights regarding judicial outcomes and competitive strategy. Following a successful Series B funding round where we secured 40 million dollars, we are expanding our engineering team. We are currently searching for a Lead Fullstack Software Engineer who is eager to contribute to a collaborative, honest, and high-performing environment. In this role, you will help us build scalable architecture to support our rapidly growing user base and data volume.
Key outcomes
- Take full ownership of the development stack, from the back-end to the front-end, to create products that deliver real value.
- Partner with fellow engineers across a variety of projects and product lines.
- Utilize our extensive data sets to architect and maintain robust back-end services.
- Integrate complex data and services into front-end frameworks to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Work closely with our data and back-end teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with product and design departments to translate requirements into functional, high-quality features.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong technical proficiency in API architecture, JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks, and responsive template development.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to turn design concepts into functional applications.
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional proficiency in Python and experience with Python-based frameworks, with specific knowledge of Django being highly valued.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience working with AWS, Linux, Celery, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
