What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join us on a full-time, remote basis. This position is ideal for an experienced developer with at least five years of professional experience who is comfortable owning both the front-end and back-end aspects of our applications. You will be a key contributor to our technical strategy and will work closely with our team to deliver robust, reliable software.
What will you do?
- Design and build comprehensive front-end architectures while simultaneously developing our back-end web applications.
- Take full ownership of your code by writing clean, maintainable, and scalable solutions, while also documenting your work and conducting thorough code reviews.
- Collaborate on technical specifications, provide feedback on project estimates, and recommend the best development paths to meet our goals.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Angular. We value engineers who understand the full software development lifecycle and can navigate complex technical challenges with ease. Your toolkit should include the following:
- Extensive experience with Java/J2EE, RESTful web services, and SOAP.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid knowledge of database management using MySQL and Postgres.
- Familiarity with AWS services, Maven, and Git.
- A strong grasp of unit testing, CI environments, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to effectively formalize requirements and work within a collaborative team.
- Bonus points if you have experience with GraphQL.
