At Younited we believe credit and payment products should be clear, fair, and designed to help people reach their financial goals. Our technology platform powers both direct-to-consumer services and white-label solutions for banks, retailers, and fintech partners across Europe. With more than one million customers, 550 employees, and offices in Paris, Rome, Barcelona, and Lisbon, we are on a mission to become the trusted financial partner for Europeans while pursuing B-Corp certification.
We are looking for a Junior Fullstack Software Engineer experienced in .NET and Angular to join our recovery-technology team on a full-time, hybrid basis in France. You will help build tools that support customers facing financial difficulty, automate manual processes, and improve the overall efficiency of our collections operations.
Responsibilities
- Take part in every stage of technical projects, from initial analysis through to production release, while challenging requirements and assessing their feasibility.
- Design and estimate solutions in collaboration with the team, including refactoring or re-architecting components when needed, and develop them using .NET/C# and Angular.
- Strengthen engineering practices by applying TDD, BDD, pair or mob programming, clean-code principles, and thorough documentation, while staying current with new technologies and sharing insights across the tech organization.
Requirements
- First hands-on experience building applications with Angular and/or .NET, along with the ability to write structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies quickly, combined with strong communication skills for discussing technical choices with peers.
- Fluency in French and a genuine team-oriented mindset that values collaboration, constructive feedback, and collective ownership of the product.
What we offer
- Hybrid work policy allowing two to three days of remote work per week and the option of one fully remote week twice a year.
- 33 days of paid time off, flexible hours, and a range of family-support measures including extended parental leave, childcare days, and remote-work adjustments during pregnancy.
- Continuous professional development through internal and external training, e-learning access, and weekly tech workshops, plus an international environment with opportunities to work from our offices in Barcelona, Lisbon, or Rome.
