sennder is the leading digital freight forwarder in Europe. We are transforming a traditional industry by digitizing and automating road logistics, using data to unlock sustainable capacity and exceptional service quality. Our team is growing rapidly, and we are now looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our Order Fulfillment team in Berlin. This role is a full-time, on-site position where you will help us revolutionize how freight moves across the continent.

Key outcomes

Develop and evolve backend and frontend services within distributed architectures that utilize asynchronous communication.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to improve carrier load and payment visibility.
Work alongside a mature, agile, and friendly team to build high-quality software solutions.
Focus on the long-term maintainability and reliability of our services.
Engage in cross-team collaboration and contribute to our developer community by sharing best practices.

Requirements

Professional proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
Deep understanding of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
Proven experience working with Kafka and asynchronous system architectures.
Strong grasp of Clean Code concepts and SOLID principles.
Fluency in English, which serves as our primary language for international collaboration.
