Fullstack Engineer at Okendo

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Product Engineering team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will help build out the Okendo platform by applying a product-driven mindset and a commitment to engineering excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that adhere to our high standards for performance and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions while breaking down complex tasks into manageable components.
• Take ownership of technical tasks, evaluate potential solutions independently, and integrate your work seamlessly into our existing system.
• Collaborate with team members on system design discussions, mentor others, and contribute innovative ideas to improve our development processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should possess a strong foundation in software development principles and a proven ability to write clean, efficient code. We require at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer. Our team works with a modern tech stack, and proficiency in the following areas is highly valued:

• Frontend: Experience with Vue, Angular, and React.
• Backend: A strong grasp of serverless architecture on AWS, including Lambda, Node.js, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Tools and Languages: Expertise in TypeScript, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and Jira for project management.
