What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Enterprise Product and Delivery team on a full-time basis. This is a remote role based anywhere, though we have a strong preference for candidates located in Canada who can collaborate effectively with our European teams. You will be instrumental in shaping our technical vision while working with a robust stack including Java, Kotlin, React, TypeScript, Redis, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and MongoDB. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Customizing our core products for new and existing partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Collaborating within a cross-functional team of engineers and designers to drive product development and maintain high-quality standards.
- Acting as a generalist-specialist who shields our core product teams by managing client-specific integration projects.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a proactive, result-oriented professional with a deep background in both web front-end and back-end development. You should have extensive experience within the JVM ecosystem using Kotlin or Java, alongside strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. We value candidates who have successfully deployed and monitored enterprise-level applications and possess a solid understanding of cloud technologies and CI/CD pipelines. You must be comfortable working in an agile environment, possess a high sense of responsibility, and be eager to share knowledge through pairing and documentation. Excellent communication skills in English are required, as is a commitment to maintaining high software quality through rigorous unit and integration testing.
What we offer
We are committed to supporting your professional growth and personal well-being. We provide a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to help you thrive both inside and outside of the office:
- Flexible hours to support a healthy work-life balance.
- Generous paid time off to ensure you have time to rest and recharge.
- A dedicated home office budget to help you create your ideal workspace.
- Access to an employee assistance program for your emotional well-being.
- A learning budget to facilitate your ongoing professional development.
- The ability to work remotely.
How to Apply
If you are excited about the prospect of joining a diverse, mission-driven team, we encourage you to apply. Please submit your application through our official online portal to be considered for this position. We look forward to reviewing your background and potentially welcoming you to the team at Ada.
