We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our foundations group, which manages critical merchant-facing software including gateways, billing systems, and onboarding tools.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing and maintaining the software products that power our payment infrastructure. You will work within a collaborative, hybrid environment to build robust solutions that help our merchants succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and rigorously test cloud-based microservices to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the design of our software products by drafting detailed technical specifications.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold our technical standards while actively participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 5 years of professional experience working with Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• A strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience with microservices, messaging protocols, Git, and feature-driven development.
• A commitment to thorough testing and documentation of all your code.
• Experience using monitoring tools such as Datadog and OpenSearch.
• A solid background in architecture design and the application of common design patterns.

Location

This position is based in Germany and operates on a hybrid work model.
