Fullstack Engineer with DevOps at Kunai

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with DevOps expertise to join our team and help us transform the financial services industry. At Kunai, we develop full-stack technology solutions for major banks, payment networks, and infrastructure providers, focusing on human-centered design and tech-agnostic innovation to help our clients modernize their businesses.

Responsibilities

• Work within a SCRUM team to build and integrate next-generation automation platforms.
• Develop tools that enhance stability, quality, and repeatability for global development teams.
• Directly influence our Data and Machine Learning processes, application deployment, and test automation.
• Design and implement resilient systems that support our clients' evolving needs.
• Focus on production readiness and operational excellence across our infrastructure.

Must-haves

• At least 7 years of production-level development experience using Java, Scala, Python, or Go.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation tasks.
• 5 or more years of experience working with public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• 5 or more years of hands-on experience with container orchestration, specifically EKS or ECS.
• Proven background in building and maintaining resilient, production-ready systems.
• Practical experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or Couchbase.
• Experience with UI development for internal tooling using frameworks like React or Angular.
• Professional fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in SRE practices, including managing bridge calls and conducting chaos testing.
• Familiarity with observability tools or Open Telemetry.
