Fullstack Engineer AI Enablement at N26

The role

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Business Enablement Group on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Germany where you will focus on our AI Enablement initiatives. You will play a pivotal part in designing and deploying sophisticated AI solutions that automate internal processes and drive data-driven decision-making across our various business departments.

Core responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the scalable systems required to support the entire AI lifecycle.
• Create robust infrastructure and APIs that bridge the gap between third-party services and our internal architecture.
• Develop and manage an evaluation framework for Large Language Models while partnering with product teams to deliver accessible, high-impact AI tools.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess significant software engineering experience and a strong command of Python or Kotlin. We look for engineers who are passionate about automation and have a sharp eye for user experience. Your background should include the following:

• Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, specifically with services like Vertex AI or Bedrock.
• A deep understanding of microservice architecture and modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, TDD, and clean code principles.
• Experience with database management, particularly Postgres.
• Proficiency with DevOps tooling and infrastructure as code, including Terraform, Datadog, and OpenSearch.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
