Fullstack Engineer AI Enablement at N26

About the opportunity

At N26, the Business Enablement Group focuses on empowering non-technical departments. We achieve this by utilizing AI technologies to create and deploy innovative, user-friendly solutions. Our goal is to automate and optimize internal processes, enhancing efficiency across the company. 

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our innovative AI Enablement team. In this  role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions across various business departments. Your contributions will directly optimize critical processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. 

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems that support the AI lifecycle

• Develop infrastructure and APIs that integrate third-party services with internal systems

• Build and maintain an LLM evaluation framework

• Partner with product teams to design and deliver accessible AI solutions

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and you are not afraid to propose some findings during our GSDD.

• Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technology standards right across the product

What you need to be successful:

• Significant software engineering experience in one or more general purpose programming languages including Python or Kotlin

• A natural tendency to automate repetitive tasks

• An eye for detail and care for user experience

• Cloud platform expertise with AWS, GCP, (Bedrock, Vertex AI)

• Experience with modern engineering practices such as clean code, TDD, refactoring, CI/CD.

• Sound understanding of microservice architecture

• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres

• Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling such as: Terraform, Spotinst, Datadog, OpenSearch

• Language Skills: full professional proficiency in English

• Experience with Domain Driven Design

• A love of learning and love of helping others to learn and grow

• Experience with event drive architecture

• A sense of independence and an ability to establish structures or processes to adapt to a constantly evolving domain and environment
