Full Stack Web Developer at Brafton

We are looking for a seasoned expert to join our global team as a Full Stack Web Developer. At Brafton, we operate out of offices in Boston, London, and Sydney, and we specialize in delivering high-impact digital solutions for our clients. Role at a glance

This is an executive-level contract position that can be performed 100% remotely from anywhere in the world. You will report directly to a US-based team leader and work alongside our consulting and graphic design departments to build and maintain sophisticated web experiences.

Your impact

• Collaborate with our design and consulting teams to transform mockups into fully functional websites, single-page applications, and custom on-page solutions.
• Develop custom themes and plugins using PHP, ensuring that all code is clean, efficient, and tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
• Take a consultative approach to problem-solving, acting as a direct point of contact for clients and internal developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various CMS platforms.

What you'll need

We are looking for a candidate who brings a deep technical background and a passion for staying on the cutting edge of web development. You should be comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment where clear communication is key.

• At least 10 years of experience with PHP, including recent work with versions 7.X through 8.X.
• A minimum of 10 years in front-end development, with solid expertise in HTML, SASS, or SCSS.
• At least 3 years of recent experience with WordPress, specifically utilizing the Gutenberg Editor and building custom blocks with ACF or React.
• Proven leadership and project management skills, alongside experience with Docker, Linux, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Full professional fluency in English for both written and verbal collaboration.
• Bonus points if you have experience with Laravel, Symfony, AWS, Terraform, or containerization tools like EKS.
