We are looking for a seasoned expert to join our global team as a Full Stack Web Developer. At Brafton, we operate out of offices in Boston, London, and Sydney, and we specialize in delivering high-impact digital solutions for our clients. If you are a technical leader who loves solving complex web challenges and thrives in a collaborative, remote environment, we want to hear from you.

Role at a glance

This is an executive-level contract position that can be performed 100% remotely from anywhere in the world. You will report directly to a US-based team leader and work alongside our consulting and graphic design departments to build and maintain sophisticated web experiences.

Your impact

Collaborate with our design and consulting teams to transform mockups into fully functional websites, single-page applications, and custom on-page solutions.
Develop custom themes and plugins using PHP, ensuring that all code is clean, efficient, and tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
Take a consultative approach to problem-solving, acting as a direct point of contact for clients and internal developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various CMS platforms.

What you'll need

We are looking for a candidate who brings a deep technical background and a passion for staying on the cutting edge of web development. You should be comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment where clear communication is key.

At least 10 years of experience with PHP, including recent work with versions 7.X through 8.X.
A minimum of 10 years in front-end development, with solid expertise in HTML, SASS, or SCSS.
At least 3 years of recent experience with WordPress, specifically utilizing the Gutenberg Editor and building custom blocks with ACF or React.
Proven leadership and project management skills, alongside experience with Docker, Linux, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Full professional fluency in English for both written and verbal collaboration.
Bonus points if you have experience with Laravel, Symfony, AWS, Terraform, or containerization tools like EKS.
