Our engineering team is currently developing a suite of innovative products that build upon the success of our initial tenant insurance offerings. By joining us, you will play a direct role in creating new revenue streams, refining data-driven pricing models, and automating revenue collection for our property owners. About the Role
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position that offers high visibility, as you will work closely with our founding team and principal engineer to establish our technical foundation. We are looking for a hands-on developer who is eager to contribute to a high-performance environment and enjoys the challenge of building products from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to address technical challenges and identify opportunities for immediate improvements.
- Develop and maintain robust web services and integrations that support our B2B2C business model.
- Work alongside product and support teams to scope, plan, and execute maintenance releases and patches.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in building and maintaining software applications. We look for the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency with Node, React, and API integrations.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and experience shipping code in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other engineers to resolve complex problems.
- Experience with REST-based web services and developing unit tests is highly desirable.

This position is based in our downtown Austin, Texas office.
