Role at a glance

We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in New Haven, CT, where you will work on-site at least three days per week to collaborate closely with our scientists and engineers.

Your impact

• Translate complex functional requirements into technical specifications by working alongside our product managers and research scientists.
• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces while building reliable, efficient back-end systems that power our quantum platform.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by writing clean code, conducting thorough reviews, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks from concept to production.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a desire to work in a collaborative, high-tech environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or Chemistry.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other high-level language like C, C++, or Java.
• Strong skills in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle and writing complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and robust testing practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English to help bridge the gap between technical and scientific teams.
