Full Stack Software Engineer at Quantum Circuits

At Quantum Circuits Inc., we are working to change the future of technology by building the world’s first truly algorithmic quantum computers. Our work is rooted in a decade of research from Yale University, and we utilize a modular, scalable architecture to create transformational computing capabilities. We are looking for a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut, to help us develop the essential tools and platforms that power our superconducting devices.

What you'll be doing

• You will work alongside product managers, scientists, and fellow engineers to turn functional requirements into technical solutions and high-quality deliverables.
• You will design and implement intuitive user interfaces while building reliable, efficient back-end systems that take our software from initial concept to production.
• You will write clean, maintainable code and participate in thorough code reviews to ensure our platform remains robust, performing troubleshooting and performance optimization as needed.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid foundation in both front-end and back-end development. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or Chemistry.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other high-level language like C or C++.
• Experience with front-end technologies, specifically JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle, along with strong SQL skills.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and experience with CI/CD pipelines and software testing practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a cross-functional team.
